Not much to say today. The challenge is to reduce or eliminate coffee. I wasn't sure what I would do at book club this afternoon, but we had chai tea instead, so that was all right. I also wasn't sure how I'd handle the eating portion, as I was sure there'd be sugar involved, and it's true - I caved in and had a pumpkin muffin. It didn't taste overly sweet and maybe a different sweetener was used (maple syrup?). Anyway, I'm not going to beat myself up about it. One slip does not a failure make.
Tonight is our small group meeting. I plan to stick with a non-caffeinated beverage. If there is food, unless it's fruit or veggies, I'll pass. I'll try to make a good supper and cleanse-friendly "dessert" so I'm not tempted later.
