Last week I talked about a new tracking tool I discovered at StickK. Yesterday I made my first report and added some new commitments.
I did well with my weight loss efforts, losing 1.2 pounds and staying ahead of schedule. But my promise to drink more water every day went down the drain. I did no better than usual. Yesterday I ramped up my efforts on that score, and managed to drink half the amount of water I was aiming for. Still, that was a big improvement over my typical intake (not counting coffee and tea). I can still get the requirement in for today, though I'm behind at the moment. If I can do this without putting money on it, good; if I'm not where I want to be with water at the beginning of April, I'll have to decide where the money will go (as well as where it will come from!). At the moment I am thinking of supporting Lifewater Canada, an organization that trains and equips the rural poor in Africa and in Haiti to drill wells and build washrooms.
